by | Jul 29, 2015

Offshore:

Offshore fishing over the past few days has been a various bite. We have had a little bit of everything brought back to the dock. Catches have consisted of Wahoo, Mahi, Yellowfin, Big Eye, and Billfish. Though the predominate bite has been primarily Mahi and catching and releasing Blue Marlin.

Inshore:

We have multiple inshore trips this morning as well as several this afternoon scheduled today. We are hoping to see some nice catches of Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish, as well as the chance of a Cobia being brought back to the docks. The boats are scheduled to return at various times today starting at 11. So be sure to check back in with us later to see the latest catch!

We are already hearing reports of a good Mackerel and Bluefish bite! The Captain Cheryl was able to get hooked up on some Spanish Mackerel. The High Hopes is having a great time catching and releasing some small Sharks. The GitRDone, WaveRunner, and Capt Cheryl all returned with really nice hauls of Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish, as well as catching and releasing some small sharks. Though the Shark fishing was a little on the slower side this morning.

Rudee Inlet:

Rudee Inlet lately has produced a steady bite of Croaker and Spot. They seem to bite best on live bloodworms and cut squid. There has also been a scattered bite of Flounder, some of which have been of keeper size. The popular bait for the Flounder has been live minnows, as well as Gulp on a light jig head.
