Today, we had the WaveRunner fishing a half-day nearshore and the Top Notch fishing a full-day inshore! All of our offshore trips were cancelled today, unfortunately, as the wind was too strong out there. However, the WaveRunner and Top Notch had a great catch inshore today!
The WaveRunner came back from their trip with a great catch of Spadefish! The anglers were also able to catch (and release) a shark!
The Top Notch also hit the docks with an awesome catch of Spadefish and a really nice Spanish Mackerel.
Although the weather wasn’t ideal for the offshore trips that were planned, we are happy to have gotten some anglers out on the water!
Tomorrow, we will have the Backlash, Rebel and Top Notch offshore as well as the Capt. Cheryl running 2 inshore half-day trips. We will also have another half-day nearshore trip being run on one of our overflow boats! Be sure to check back tomorrow to see how the fleet fared, and to see if the Rebel ends up walking away from the Virginia Beach Tuna Tournament with a win in the Dolphin division!
