On Friday, June 22 we had the Top Notch fishing 2 inshore half-day trips, the Capt. Cheryl, High Hopes, and Backlash fishing offshore as well as the Rebel offshore fishing the Virginia Beach Tuna Tournament!

The Rebel had a great day offshore bringing home a 21.3lb Dolphin that is currently sitting in 1st Place of the Dolphin Category! Today will be the last day of the Tournament and most boats are fished out so we have our fingers crossed that the Rebel will bring it home!

The Backlash returned from the deep after a day of kite fishing with a really nice Yellowfin! If you haven’t ever heard of or witnessed kite fishing you should look into it! If it interests you, give us a call and we can get you out there!

The Capt. Cheryl and High Hopes both returned with awesome catches of Blueline Tilefish! Both also had a few Tuna and the Capt. Cheryl also added to their mixed bag with a Dolphin and the High Hopes added to theirs with a Seabass!

The Top Notch spent their day inshore giving the Spanish Mackerel a run for their money!

The Virginia Beach Tuna Tournament once again brought some impressive catches to our scales with some really nice Tuna and Yellowfin being weighed in. We also started off our morning at the Fishing Center with a 419# Blue Marlin being weighed in from a private boat the day prior. With the rough offshore forecast for Saturday, most boats fished Thursday or Friday; however, we always welcome any and all down to the docks! Today, we have the Top Notch fishing a full-day inshore and the WaveRunner fishing a half-day nearshore so be sure to check back later to see how they did!
