Yesterday, the WaveRunner went out on an all day inshore trip and returned with a nice catch of Seabass! Today, they are out fun fishing and have been catching (and releasing) a bunch of nice Cobia. The Cobia season won’t open until June 1 but we have received tons and tons of Cobia reports lately so everyone is very excited and anxious for that day! It looks like there will be some high winds tomorrow so as of now we have no boats scheduled to go out. If that changes we will report back!
Yesterday, we had the High Hopes fishing inshore. They came in with a catch of Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish. We also had the WaveRunner fishing offshore. They came in with a good catch of Seabass and Tilefish. While the season for Cobia won’t start until June 1 we have seen lots of people catching (and releasing) them which is a good sign for our summer! There have also been quite a few Citation Red Drum lately and lots of good catches of Seabass and Tilefish. Today, the Waverunner will be fishing inshore from 8-4 so check back later to see how they did.
After a long winter our captains are excited to get out and enjoy this beautiful spring weather on the water! Today we had the Capt. Cheryl and High Hopes both fishing inshore. Capt. Cheryl had two nice sized Red Drum releases, and both captains reported some Bluefish starting to run!! Bluefish, Puppy Drum, Speckled Trout, and Flounder are starting to show up in the inlet with the water temperature starting to rise as well! Fishing is just starting to pick up so give us a call at 757-491-8000 to book your charter today!
